A great place to stay if you're travelling to Hobart. We will definitely be staying there again. We stayed in the Hunter 2 bedroom suite it was quiet, spacious and comfortable and we slept so well. Views from the room were amazing as well.
Wonderful stay here with my husband. Absolutely beautiful building, rooms and gardens. The service was pleasant and prompt.
Great Indian restaurant that’s a five minute walk away, and Coles and their surrounding food stores/cafes/restaurants also within walking distance of less than 10 minutes.

I do not recommend this hotel. I had a nice room but there was no service and meals are no longer provided. A key was left near the door so we could let ourselves in. The lack of meals was an issue because the lodge is out in the suburbs nowhere near any restaurants or cafes. I was not told of the lack of service till after my credit card was debited. There was no coffee in my room or in the lounge - not even instant! There were no staff to ask about coffee or anything else.
Maylands lodge is one of the best places we have ever stayed at! Luxury, cleanliness and service are to the highest level. Quiet surrounds with free parking. I can easily say that the room was the cleanest and most comfortable and relaxing I have ever stayed at, complimented by gorgeous views and exceptionally well maintained gardens. It’s a real shame that there is no restaurant on the grounds to complete the very enjoyable experience. I cannot fault our stay there and I would highly recommend it to all my friends. I will most definitely be returning to The lodge next time we travel to TAS.
